Even a small wet area can support a surprising amount of life. Move slowly and you’ll spot ripples, reeds, and tiny creatures using the water’s edge for shelter.
If you stand still for a moment, birds often appear briefly for a drink or bath. In warmer months you may see dragonflies or pond skaters moving across the surface.
